KleenAir Air Pre-cleaner
The air full of contamination enters in the Kleenair pre-air cleaner that is installed in the air intake pipe. The contaminated air is then directed towards the specially designed and arranged vanes into the stainless steel impeller. The only moving part that is the impeller sping on a sealed bearing and the expels out the particles that are heavier than air. The Kleenair impeller ejects about about 90% of particles over 10 microns and leaving only about a very small amount of contaminants to be removed for the air filter. Following are the key benefits of Air Pre-cleaner
Material Costs
The air filter will last over ten times longer between cleaning or replacement.
Wear
The replacement of air filters results in considerable amount of dust being passed to the engines. It is a reality that the air filters works more efficiently in between their lives. Less dust is inducted in engines if the air filters are not changed frequently, which would rather result in the extended lives of the engines.
Labor
Kleenair system maintenance requirement is very low and the time required in changing or cleaning of air filters can be can removed from the service schedule.
Operaing Principle
The impeller, which is the only moving part, spins on a sealed bearing and expels heavier than air particles through a louver on the side of the housing.
The clean air continues to the standard air filters.
As much as 90% of particles over 10 microns will be ejected by the Kleenair impeller, leaving only a small amount of contaminants for the standard air filter to remove
